Since 1979, WRL General Contractors has been a trusted name in commercial construction across Texas.

Founded in Flint, Texas, the company has spent over four decades delivering quality projects in educational, industrial, commercial, faith-based, and municipal construction.

WRL was built on the belief that a handshake still means somethingâ€”that doing the right thing, working hard, and showing up matters. That mindset continues to guide our team today, even as we grow.

Building into the Future

In 2025, WRL joined Drake Companies in a move that will strengthen our team and enable us to continue delivering high-quality construction projects. Drakeâ€™s family of companies will help us provide more comprehensive services to our clients and pave the way to a bright future for WRL General Contractors. Our combined experience will enable us to continue to provide the high-quality work our customers have come to know us for.
