Award-Winning Steel Joist

WRL General Contractor's project was awarded the 2010 Design Award with Unified Building Sciences & Engineering. The New Hallsville High School's "competition gymnasium roof utilized a 194 foot span, 10 foot deep double arched custom joist system, field spliced at mid-span. The joists were spaced at 9'-6" o/c and were part of the lateral load resisting system with wind movement connections at columns." Read more by clicking the icon below for the printed article.
